Famed American architect Raymond Hood designed this magnificent 180,000 square foot building to serve as a Masonic Temple and Scottish Rite Cathedral. Employing a mix of Art Deco and Gothic styles, Hood included intricate details and symbols throughout. This 1930 edifice and its appointments are similar in many ways to his design for Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Today the building also serves as the Scranton Cultural Center, a leading venue for the performing arts in Scranton.
