Tony Cerminaro is a Steamtown Marathon legend. He’s run at Steamtown 24 times, winning his age group in every race. And we’re proud to note that Tony is nationally recognized. . He broke the national record for runners aged 80 at Steamtown with a time of 3:54.

Tony ran his first marathon at the age of fifty, in New York City. He has since run 115 marathons and fifteen 50 mile races. He ran at Boston and had 8 awards, including four first place finishes for his age group. Both when he was 70 and when he was 8o, he won his age group in 50 mile races. He’s the oldest runner to finish a 50 miler at the 82.
