Scranton’s newest iconic landmark, completed in 2011 is the 180,000 square foot Commonwealth Medical College. Its state-of-the-art design and construction provides a modern representation of Pennsylvania’s natural beauty and sustainable environmental standards.

TCMC recruited 175 outstanding faculty members to prepare the next generation of physicians in a community-based model. Superior recruiting extended to its 500 medical students, the achievement statistics of which are well above the norm.
