In the eye of an American, Derbyshire is typical of the English Countryside. Neat stone walls, orderly tree lines and even sheep bring to mind folk tale settings and poetry.
This view looks across the border between Staffordshire and Derbyshire, looking from the Tissington Trail in the Peak District. The trail is along a former railroad bed; the old Hartington Signal Box stands near where the photo was taken.
