Precisionist GAR Building Precisionism, America’s first indigenous Modern Art Movement, conveys a geometric essence of familiar, identifiable urban scenes. Drawing from Cubism and Futurism, it fractures planes and indicates “Lines of Force” through shafts of light. This is the Grand Army of the Republic Building on Linden Street, Scranton, PA. The building is an anchor for the dynamic Penn Avenue restoration area.
